The Lancaster Dining Suite

The Lancaster Dining Suite consists of an extending Dining Table which will seat up to eight people, while the Chair and Armchair can be upholstered in a choice of woven fabrics. The Sideboard provides attractive storage cupboards and can be used with the Display Top which features interior lighting and genuine leaded light glass doors. The hand carving along the top of this piece is known as Guilloche, a decorative motif consisting or two ribbons intertwining around a row of bosses. The Guilloche originated in ancient Greece and has been used by European furniture makers for centuries.

The Warwick Dining Suite

Gothic archway carvings are the theme of the Warwick Dining Suite. The versatile Dining Table is available with either Square-End or D-End Extension Leaves to accommodate extra guests. The sideboard cupboard has a fixed shelf for additional storage while the Dresser features genuine leaded light doors and plate grooves in the centre shelves. The Warwick Chair and Carver complete the suite and feature hand carved gothic archways to match those on the Sideboard.

The Richmond Dining suite

The simple but elegant lines of the Richmond Dining Suite will suit any style of home whether traditional or contemporary. The generous sideboard with its chop carving and linefold doors features three top drawers with roomy cupboard space beneath, perfect for storing crockery and glassware. The beautiful heavy panelled top of the Dining Table, which extends up to 221 cm long, makes this an impressive furniture suite. The Dining Chairs with their turned front rails, and cushioned back, are available in a wide selection of fabrics or hides.

The Alderburgh Oval Table

The Alderburgh Suite is an ideal choice for rooms where space is at a premium.
The suite comprises a hand carved sideboard, featuring the traditional linefold and cactus flower designs. Also included in the suite are a chair and carver, available in a choice of fabrics and an oval extending dining table which will seat four people when closed or six when extended.

The Durham Dining Suite

This suite consists of a gateleg table which when fully opened seats six people with ease.  There are two long drawers at either end of the table featuring vertical ring pull handles - perfect for storing linen and cutlery.  The Chair & Armchair with their turned front rails and cushioned back are available in a wide selection of fabrics.  The elaborately carved buffet is a perfect example of various hand carvings.  There is also a parcel shelf for displaying larger items.  The buffet and gateleg table form part of the Old Charm National Trust Collection.

The Lincoln Dining Suite

This suite consists of an elegant columned dining table which is sold complete with two extension leaves, enabling ten people to be seated comfortably.  The Armchair and Chair which accompany this table have padded backs and turned columned front legs.  This sideboard (which also accompanies the Sovereign dining suite) is a beautiful example of carved cactus flowers and panelling.  The large mirror has a solid wood frame surrounding three individual bevelled edged mirrors.

Display Cabinets and Bookcases

All the Old Charm bookcases can be used for both displaying books or ornaments.  Whether you need a single bookcase or a set of connecting bookcases, Old Charm has the answer.  The Stuart range of three bookcases has been designed to be used together or on their own.  The Narrow Bookcase is only 20¼" wide, ideal for filling any unused gap in the home where space is at a premium.  Nearly all the bookcases have adjustable shelves so that even the largest books can be accommodated.

Corner cabinets provide excellent display space and, because they fit neatly into any corner of a room, do not take up too much wall area.  Display cabinet doors are glazed with hand-made leaded light panels.  Leaded light glass allows both books and ornaments to be displayed.  Thus figurines, porcelain, lead crystal, and other favourite ornaments will be given just that extra prominence when displayed in one of these magnificent cabinets.
